Dimension Cabinet and Millwork has been crafting fine cabinetry and woodwork in the greater Ottawa area for nearly three decades. We provide design services and work with designers, architects and contractors to execute projects with careful attention to detail.
We are a local business with a skilled team of cabinetmakers executing traditional techniques to produce quality custom design. Our range of products include : kitchens and bathrooms, built-ins, furniture, corporate fixtures and interior woodwork.
Local in-house Manufacturing: Permits greater quality control and attention to detail, allows for customization of any detail in the project without significant cost increases. Clients may access the manufacturing plant to observe the progress of their project as it takes shape.
Warranties: We fabricate and install our products to AWI ( Architectural Woodwork Institute ) and AWMAC ( Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada) standards or better and warranty our products beyond industry standards.
Design Process: We take our client’s concepts and formulate plans through our own design services. We also work with client’s chosen designers and architects.
In our design process we consult with potential clients to formulate a personalized plan for their requirements.
This consultation typically occurs in the client’s home or commercial space; this allows us to understand our client’s goals and expectations for the space in question as well as choice of finishes. From this initial consultation we are able to present design options in the form of floor plans as well as initial budgets for the project.
Subsequent meetings occur to discuss the potential plans , pricing and further define details of the project.
With client approval we proceed with final plans and elevation drawings as well as specifications for the materials that will be used.
Materials: In consultation with our client we advise on material and hardware selection as well as finish options. Once a finish is chosen we produce samples for clients to approve; this ensures that our customers are completely satisfied with the end result.

This allows us to customize every part of your project and will show you what your finished project will look like. We will make any changes and fine tune the details until it is perfectly tailored to your wishes.
Our thorough design consultation will provide you with information and a roadmap detailing the steps involved in your project.
Once the design is complete, we will provide you with a schedule for fabrication, delivery and installation. We will coordinate with other trades to ensure that the project is professionally installed according to plan.
